Awareness is Key
It’s incredibly hard to change something we’re not aware of.
This is true for our behaviors, our patterns, our thoughts… even the subtle ways we show up in our daily lives.
As I prepare to begin another round of ✨ Elevate: 50 Days to Transformation ✨—created by Dr. East and facilitated by Cheryl and myself—I’ve found myself reflecting.
I recently went back and read through my previous workbook…
And I was genuinely moved.
After just one week, I had written about feeling moody, agitated, and tired—things I hadn’t fully realized I was carrying until I slowed down enough to notice.
By week two, everything began to shift.
I felt more grounded. More resilient.
I had released 7 pounds, but more importantly—I felt energized, clear, and balanced.
And as the weeks went on, the awareness—and transformation—only deepened.
But here’s the honest part…
Somewhere along the way months after I finished the program, I slipped back into a bit of a slumber.
Easter came with chocolate eggs, bunnies, sweets…
My workouts became inconsistent…
And slowly, I started to feel it again—tired, sluggish, a little off.
And if I’m being really real?
There’s a part of me that doesn’t love admitting that—especially when I’m here to inspire others.
But the truth is… I’m human too.
And I see this pattern so clearly:
We feel amazing…
So we loosen our grip just a little.
We skip a day—it’s no big deal.
Then another.
Then another…
Until suddenly, we’re no longer in the rhythm that once made us feel so good.
And starting again?
It can feel overwhelming.
Can you relate?
This is exactly why I’m doing this again.
Not from a place of “fixing”—but from a place of returning.
Returning to alignment.
To energy.
To intention.
To the version of myself that feels fully alive—mind, body, and soul.
And I don’t want to do it alone.
Let’s do this together.
Let’s create a rhythm.
Let’s support each other.
Let’s rise—side by side.

✨ A Simple Breath to Reset Your Nervous System
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, tired, or out of rhythm—start here.
This is one of my favorite gentle nervous system resets:
The 4–6 Grounding Breath
• Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 seconds
• Exhale gently through your mouth for 6 seconds
• Repeat for 2–5 minutes
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your body know… you are safe to slow down.
The longer exhale signals to your nervous system that it’s safe to relax—shifting you out of stress and back into balance.
You don’t need to do everything perfectly.
Just start with one breath.
✨ A Simple Gratitude Reset When we feel off, it’s often because our attention has drifted toward what’s missing, stressful, or out of alignment. Gratitude gently brings us back. Try this: Take a moment—right now if you can. Place one hand on your heart. Now ask yourself: What is one thing in my life, right now, that I can truly feel grateful for? Not just something you think—but something you can actually feel. Maybe it’s your child’s laugh. Let it land. Stay with that feeling for 10–20 seconds. That feeling… is medicine for your nervous system. |
